Personal Background

As the granddaughter of well respected Central New Jersey Pastor, the late Rev. L. Walter Crews, Jr., (Second Baptist Church, Metuchen, NJ), Ms. Martin was raised in the church since birth.  She was even called at the tender age of fourteen to take over as the Church Clerk at the Gateway Baptist Church in Gastonia, NC.  She was the youngest person in the church’s history to ever serve in that capacity.  This divinely ordained position turned out to be the beginning of her lifelong journey in using her administrative gifts.

Born in Gastonia, NC, Ms. Martin relocated in 1986 to New Jersey in search of employment and to be near her close-knit family.  She currently resides in Central Jersey where she is an active member of Fountain Baptist Church, Summit, New Jersey.
